Obama/art
Notcot, writing about new Obama posters by Sam Flores and Munk One, writes:
Regardless of whether you support Obama, it’s hard not to be in awe not only of the way that Obama’s campaign has been designed, but also how impeccably designed/inspired/executed the unofficial art that has come out to support him has been as well.
It is interesting.
I wonder: What are the precedents for a candidate inspiring, in real time, so many artist pieces such as these?

I don’t believe that any of his propaganda is ‘spontaneous’. Obama is just as slick as Oprah. Both know very well how to get up in the public’s face. In short – Obama is a hustle. And he’ll use every trick in the book… but I guess that’s what one has to do for lack of any real substance.
I don’t think Obama is the first to lean heavy on the graphic medium to push his message out – didn’t Hitler use the same technique?
spoken like a true hater res. Comparing Obama to Hitler… real subtle and mature. Makes me really respect and give value to your opinion.

The daily kos did a really read about Obama’s graphics… its super interesting and a really powerful exploration of how the campaign is using graphics. It talks about both the IN campaign art and pieces like these… made with no campaign support… worth looking it up…
Is this the Daily Kos piece you mean?:
