Regardless of what happens in the election, someday soon we’ll be looking back wistfully at these grassroots craft objects. Then later, they’ll be reappropriated as examples of early 21st century kitsch, which by then we’ll think of as a “more innocent time.”

I’m only annoyed at people offering both Obama and McCain buttons. I mean seriously, isn’t it time to take a stand and not just go for the money?
