Mmmmmm.
I already pointed to this in the linkroll at right earlier in the week, but let’s just pause to appreciate the existence of a blog about doughnuts. (Via bookofjoe.)
Of recent and not entirely frivolous interest on The Blognut: A Q&A with the cofounder of the outstanding Top Pot Doughnuts, addressing that Seattle-based business’s deal with Starbucks, which I hadn’t realized is apparently nationwide.

A blog about donuts? Doesn’t surprise me.
I think you already answered the question for us in your NY Times article: Ms. Diana, an admitted geek, couldn’t even get the Chumby to do what she had envisioned. This thing is an eBay special already. For $180, you get a throwable piece of programmable garbage.
Stephen Tomlin, the founder and CEO of Chumby Industries hopes somebody might turn his device into a Skype phone. The only problem with that wish is that you can get a Skype phone for about $20, and it will work properly, and not look like teenage collectible item. Perhaps Mr. Tomlin’s next idea will actually have some consumer interest and marketing traction, but only if it doesn’t contain the weird mix of brainy skills needed for the device combined with an off-putting design. What is this guy smoking?
Hey cybele — Of course you’re not surprised! Unless of course you see the subject matter as too narrow and limiting. Candy seems more open-ended than doughnuts. But I’m glad this site and yours BOTH exist.
RobL: I think you meant to comment on a different post here, but I see your point. Thanks.
