Is anyone else a little put off by all of the Obama merchandise out there? I mean I like him and voted for the guy, but I see all of this stuff being sold in stores labled, “Barack Obama, our 44th President” and he hasn’t even been inaugurated yet (Not to mention this stuff is most likely being manufactured without his permission). Being the cynic that I am, I sort of worry that some nutjobs are going to plan something that may make this printed statement untrue, and besides the horrible effect that this would have on the country, isn’t this sort of an insult to the consumer community? In my opinion, it’s sort of pushing a product that is false in a way.
What I want to know is, what flavor is this soda? A mix between cream and cola? Bi-racial soda?
If one takes a stroll from east of th ave and 125th st, one would find that not have the French recognized the marketing opportunities that our new iconicly cool President has inspired. Not since the hey day of Michael Jackson and Thriller have I seen such a variety of memorabillia and t-shirts etc being hawked on every corner.
There will be no end to this phenomenon so I suggest to all the MBA’s and Tycoons who just lost their shirts, to go down to 125th street, and buy an Obama shirt.
It aint Burberry, but it’ll make you feel good.
And as far as the flavor of the Obama soda, Its actually carbonated fruit juice with no artificial ingredients or sugar substitutes. Great for drinkers of all ages!
