‘Buying In’ paperback out today

Posted Under: Buying In (the book)

Or maybe it was yesterday. Either way, Buying In: What We Buy and Who We Are is now out in paper. It has a yellow cover. And a shorter subtitle. I made a couple of corrections of typos in the original book, but otherwise it’s the same, only cheaper. And with a yellow cover and… etc.

If you’re an educator who might want to assign the book, I might be able to get you a freebie to evaluate. Students seem to respond to it well, and I had great experiences doing Skype visits to classes in connection with the book last year. Contact is murketing@robwalker.net if you’re interested.

Further diversion may be found at MKTG Tumblr, and the Consumed Facebook page.

Any idea if/when the Kindle price will be $9.99 or at least the same price as the paperback? Right now, it costs $14.85, while the paperback is only $10.12.

That’s weird. But I’m afraid I don’t have the slightest idea how any of that works. If I find out something I’ll clarify…

As Camus — or was it Sartre? — once said, “I might be able to get you a freebie.”

N.B. (or anybody who reads N.B.’s comment and my inconclusive response): I notice that this issue has been corrected, and the Kindle version is cheaper than the paperback. I assume it was just a glitch/delay kind of thing.
