Crocs Consumed
Posted Under: Uncategorized
Dedicated Murketing readers will recall the recent-ish post about Crocs. Well, this is one of those instances where noodling around on this site led to a Consumed column, on the subject of Crocs, to be published this Sunday. Thanks to those who offered feedback to the earlier post.
Also, I have no idea if this will work but this is a link to the column that goes out to Times Select types.

Hi Rob,
My wife sent me the link to the Times piece earlier today, but I’m not a Select subscriber, so I’ll have to track it down elsewhere.
My highly random interest in Crocs stems from the fact that 2 weeks ago we were on vacation, and my flip flops just weren’t cutting it. Confronted with limited shopping options, I settled on a pair of Crocs, and although I felt silly in them at first, I came to love them. Having returned to workaday life (and foggy, chilly San Francisco), I’m a little bitter than I can’t wear them every day. My cross to bear.
In other (random) news, you may recall that we corresponded about life in NOLA a few years ago. My wife and I used to travel there often and even considered moving there at one point but decided against it. Next week we go back for the first time since Katrina–will be interesting to see what’s changed and what hasn’t.

Ed, great to hear from you. I’ll email you separately about post-K nola.
